Trujillo, age 30, died unexpectedly at home on April 3, 2019. Vinny was born on January 16, 1989 to Cathy and Raymond Trujillo. He grew up on the west side of Albuquerque, where he attended Alamosa Elementary School and Jimmy Carter Middle School.

He enjoyed chess. He was talented at painting and drawing. He was a smart, quiet kid; he was polite, respectful and a very good student.

He finished High School in only three years, graduating from West Mesa High School with the class of 2006. From the age of 15, Vinny worked for the Route 66 Casino. He began working at their Dairy Queen, and ultimately became a bartender – a job he really enjoyed.

Vinny loved camping and being outdoors. He loved to travel. He loved the ocean and spending hours at the beach.

He was close to his family. Vinny is remembered as loyal, funny, helpful and generous. He had a sweet soul.

Once he got to know you, you had a friend for life. Vincent is survived by his partner, Loren Antonio; father, Raymond Trujillo; mother, Cathy Trujillo; brothers, Anthony Trujillo and Ray Valles; niece & nephews, Nadia, Mary Jane, Angel, Tony, and Kirstie Valles; cousins, Monique Adams and Felicia Manning. A service celebrating Vincent’s life will take place on Friday morning, April 12, beginning at 10:30 am, at West Mesa Christian Church (8821 Golf Course Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114) with the Rev.
