Obituary of Violette (Dot) Mozelle Hinesley Key Violette Mozelle Hinesley Key, age 79, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Key was born in Randolph County on April 20, 1939 to Alfred and Beulah Gallimore Hinesley. She was formerly employed with Thomas Brothers Country Ham and retired from Bossong Hosiery.

Violette attended Liberty Road Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Violette was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wayne Key, daughters, Pamela Key Perdue and Amanda Key Ragsdale, and brother, Steve Hinesley. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy K. Hockett of Randleman and Lynn K. (Harris) Hayes of Asheboro; grandchildren, Crystal (Mike) Wise, Jeana (William) Taylor, Greg (Leslie) Hockett, Brian (Leigh-Ann) Hockett, Alan (Christy) Garner, and Ashley (Burt) Burr; 15 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Johnsie (Cliff) Bowman of Randleman; brother, Larry (Gail) Hinesley of Asheboro; and sister-in-law, Jean Hinesley of Randleman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro and other times at the home of Harris & Lynn Hayes. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Wilburn officiating. Burial will be held in Randolph Memorial Park.
