OBITUARY Virgil Beard August 13, 1939 – September 29, 2018 Virgil Henry Samuel Beard was born August 13, 1939 in Franklin, Tennessee, and passed away on September 29, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie H. and Patsy Jane Beard, and brother, Raymond Beard. He was employed by Glidden Paint, Porter Paint, Kirby Clifton Bldg.

Supplies, and presently with Marlin Manufacturing. Virgil is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Paula P. Beard; son, Tim (Teresa) Beard; granddaughters, Brittney (Scott) Masters and Lindsey (Adam) Green; and great-granddaughter, Harper Leigh Masters. Virgil enjoyed his annual garden, watching football & basketball games and most of all, his loving family.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
