Virgil L. Gibson July 13, 1929 – January 11, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Lithia- Virgil L. Gibson, age 89, passed away January 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Gray Mont, GA. on July 13, 1929.

He moved to Lithia from Lakeland 48 years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army (Korea) a superintendent for I.M.C. and a member of Willow Oak Baptist Church. Mr. Gibson was a very humble, loving family man devoted to God.

He is preceded in death by his son Darrell Gibson. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Lucille Gibson, sons Kerry (Shirley) Gibson, Kevin (Cindy) Gibson, daughters Lynn (Bo) Harrison, Karen Winslow, brother C.R. (Joyce) Gibson and 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday January 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home-Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Oak Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family @seiglerfuneralhome.net. Arrangements have been entrusted to Seigler Funeral Home, Mulberry, FL.
