Virginia’s Obituary Virginia Miller Beverly, 92, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Tallahassee Memorial. Graveside rites were held 11:00AM Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Daryl Brown officiating.

Casketbearers were Austin Thaggard, Dalton Thaggard, Elliot Banks, Gene Banks, Chad Rogers, Whitt Newsome and Stacy Thaggard. Honorary casketbearers were Tommy Proctor, Bub Whitfield and Jimmy Williams. Born July 30, 1926 in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Dave Clark and Beulah Price Miller Clark.

Mrs. Beverly was a homemaker and Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family remembers how she was a caretaker and she loved her home, family, nature and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers William “Billy” Miller and Leamon Miller. Survivors include her husband of 75 years, John T. Beverly of Moultrie; daughters, Alana Bolin and John of Moultrie, Pamela Phillips and Randy of Albany; grandchildren, Stacy Thaggard, Stephanie Thaggard and Rhoda Banks and Gene; great-grandchildren, Austin Thaggard and Christy, Dalton Thaggard and Peyton, Summer Ellen Thaggard, Elliot Banks, Henry Banks and Millie Banks; sister in law, Wynette Miller of Cumming, GA. ; special friends, Paige Thaggard, Chad Rogers and Whitt Newsome.

The family received friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM Thursday at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church.
