Obituary for Virginia Doris Corum Virginia Doris Corum, age 88, of New Market, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was a member of New Market Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Corum; daughter, Kathy Hopkins.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Tommy) McCall, Mark (Lisa) Corum, Laura (Mike) Foster; grandchildren, Nathan Hopkins, Shana (Mike) Lee, Mindy (Cliff) Frana, Amanda McCall, Emily (Logan Akins) Corum, Erin Corum, Sarah (Josh) Lawson; great-grandchildren, Dakota Hopkins, Katy Beth and Julia Lee, Maggie and Megan Frana, Daisy and Lynnlee Lawson; son-in-law, Dale Hopkins; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and friends of Signature Lifestyles, Amedysis Hospice, and Darby House. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Market Baptist Church.

Funeral service 6:00 PM Monday, December 31, 2018 at New Market Baptist Church with Rev. Richie Hayes and Rev. Doug Jennings officiating.

Interment 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Jefferson Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
