Obituary for Virginia Fry Virginia Louise Fry (Snodderly) of Abilene passed away June 14, 2018. She was born October 16, 1929 in Oak, MO to James Austin Snodderly and Grace Blondina Snodderly (Griggs). On November 4, 1950 she married David Virgil Fry of King City, MO.

Virginia spent time in Germany and Okinawa, Japan with her husband and sons. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and granddaughter Carrie Sue Lewin. Virginia is survived by sons; Bruce Alan Fry (Schatzi) and James David Fry (Becky); grandchildren Lindsey O’Brien (Jay), David Fry, Christa Fry and Tuyuq Hightower; great grandchildren (Bailey and Braden O’Brien) and (Braxton and Brinna Fry).

Viewing will be Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home. Funeral service at Emmanuel Methodist Church, Abilene, Monday, June 18, at 11:00am. Burial and graveside service will be Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00am at Ft.

Leavenworth National Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Dickinson County or the Memorial Hospital – Abilene, KS. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW Third St., Abilene, Kansas 67410.
