OBITUARY Virginia “Ginny” Woods June 21, 1945 – July 28, 2018 Virginia Louise (Gray) Woods, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Hospice Brazos Valley in Bryan, Texas. “Ginny” was born on June 21, 1945, in Newton, MA, to Franklin P. Gray and Julia Smith. She married Earl G. Woods on November 21, 1964, at First Baptist Church in Beaver Falls, PA, and together they raised four children.

Ginny graduated from Beaver Falls High School in western Pennsylvania where she resided until the big move to Texas in 1979. She joined Parkway Baptist Church in College Station, TX, and was actively involved with her church family. She loved children and provided in-home day care for many years, touching the lives of many families.

She enjoyed her trips to the beach with her family from Cape Cod to Galveston. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Earl; children, Ronnie, Bryan and wife, Michelle, Loree, Amy and husband, Dave; grandchildren, Brennan, Noah, Leah, Jeremy, Samuel, Marie, Eric, Emma, Trysten, and Kailyn; great-grandchildren, Jace and Avalee; brother, Frank Gray and wife Debbie; and sister-in-law, Sandy Barnes. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church, 1501 Southwest Parkway, College Station, Texas, 77840 with Pastor Chris Snidow officiating.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 2901 Texas Ave South, College Station, Texas, 77845. The family would like to express appreciation to the nurses, doctors, and staff at CHI St. Joseph Hospital and for the wonderful care by the nurses and staff at Hospice Brazos Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
