Virginia “Jenny” Smith Kidd, 75, of West Tawakoni went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. Jenny was born on May 7, 1944 in Paris, Texas.

She is the daughter of the late Leroy and Lucille Smith. She moved to Texarkana, Texas as a young child where she was raised and educated. Jenny married Kenneth Kidd on December 24, 1961.

They had made their home in West Tawakoni for the last 30 years. She was retired from retail sales and was the former owner of Tawakoni Quick Stop and Lake Tawakoni Apartments. She belonged to AmVets Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.

Jenny just celebrated her 75th birthday with her family on May 7, 2019. She loved spending time with her family most of all. She is loved and will be missed by her loving husband of 57 years, Kenneth; daughters Kim & husband Andy Brasher of Owasso, OK, Sandy & husband Jim McKenzie of Quinlan; brother Johnny & wife Shirley Smith of Jenks, OK; grandchildren Adam & wife Natalie Wall, Kolby McKenzie, Jessica Gibson and 9 great-grandchildren.
