Obituary for Virginia L. Bartholomew Virginia L. Bartholomew born May 10, 1931 to Gale and Elinor (Shinabery) Aldrich in Chelsea, MI passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Eugene, Frank, Warren and Kenneth Aldrich and one grandson, Darick Bartholomew. When Virginia’s mother married Carl Soderstrom he became the father she never had.

Her sister, Beverly Soderstrom (Richard Mazeikis, Sr.) survives her. Virginia married Richard Joseph Bartholomew, Sr. on October 10, 1949 in Muskegon, MI. She leaves behind their children, Joe, Peggy Dean, Jeff (Linda), Lori (Jim) Smith, Nancy (John) Rowe, Pam (Terry) Grimm, Tony (Stacy), along with 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Per Virginia’s wishes no funeral services will be held. She will be laid to rest in Lakeside Cemetery in Muskegon, MI next to her father and mother. Arrangements entrusted to The Walburn Chapel 1547 W. Sherman Blvd.
