Virginia Lee Casey, 95, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 9:54 p.m. at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehab Center, Taylor Springs, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and private family services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Casey was born on January 4, 1924 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Richard and Verna (Horn) Davis.

She owned and operated Jenny Sewing Center in Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Casey lived in Galatia, IL, Metropolis, IL til 1965, then moved to Hillsboro, IL. She married Norman Lee Casey on March 6, 1943 at Ft.

Lewis, WA Army Base. He preceded in death on September 20, 2011. Mrs. Casey was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Casey is survived by two children, Cheryl (Husband Doug) Jarman, Hillsboro, IL, and Lou Ann (Husband Fred) Trebing, Edwardsville, IL; five grandchildren, Casey (Husband Don) Bassford, Auburn, IL, Katy (Husband Cory) Evans, Hillsboro, IL, Mitchell Jarman, Ottawa, IL, Ashley (Austin Harness) Trebing, Troy, IL, and Brittany (Justin) Clark, Maryville, IL; and five great grandchildren, Drake Clark, Wyatt Clark, Logan Harness, Jaelyn Bassford, and Emersyn Bassford. Mrs. Casey was also preceded in death by one sister, Nina L. Rackley, and one half brother, Samuel J. Davis. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice.
