Virginia Louise Maynard, age 81, of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, January 9, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 29, 1937 in Hazard County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Roscoe Bishop Sr. and Grace McClurg Bishop. Virginia touched many lives and was loved by all who met her.

Surviving are her son, David (Debbie) Basham of Mt. Orab, daughter, Robin (Steve) Engbrock of Santa Fe, TX, eight grandchildren, Melissa, Bubby, Holly, Jeb, Jimmy, Jesse, Jeremy, and Christopher, eleven great-grandchildren, four sisters, Anna Ingle, Judy Davis, Dorothy ton, and Christine Bishop, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her two daughters, Patricia Basham and Loretta Carfield, two sisters, Deloris Barnett and Mildred Beighle, and five brothers, Roscoe Bishop Jr., Eugene Bishop, Darrell Bishop, Jack Bishop, and Dickey Bishop.

Services are pending. Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio is serving the family. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd.
