Obituary for Virginia Manijak Virginia A. Manijak, age 96, of Elgin, IL passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2018. Devoted wife of Richard A. Manijak (December 12, 1927 – October 25, 1996); loving mother of JoAnn Schulthies and Joyce Darges (January 6, 1952 – July 26, 2002); dear sister of MaryAnn (Mamie) Neumann; grandmother to Denise (Deena) Hansen (T.R.), Dawn and Roy Paeth, Paul Schulthies, Denice Darges (Bruce Bowers), and Tammie Farrar. She was an adored great-grandmother to Codey Paeth, Conner, Paeth, Gillian (GG) Paeth, Virginia (Jimmy) Paeth, Tommy Hansen, Callie Hansen, Alex Schulthies, Caleb Schulthies, Ethan Schulthies, Gavin Schulthies, Dylan Schulthies, Brandon, and Wyatt.

She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Virginia retired after decades from Binks and then worked part-time as a WalMart greeter for several years in Bolingbrook. Virginia loved bingo, video poker, playing cards, and food; however, most of all she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
