Obituary of Virginia Ruth Barker Justice Virginia Ruth Barker Justice, 80, of Moody Loop Road, Siler City died Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Mrs. Justice was born in Chatham County on March 31, 1938 the daughter of Johnie and Dena (Hicks) Barker. Virginia was of the Baptist faith and had worked for over twenty years with the Chatham County Schools as a cafeteria worker and bus driver.

Virginia enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Justice; her parents; brother, David Barker; sisters, Allene Hart, Rachel Phillips and Christine Harris. She is survived by one daughter: Gina Justice; two sons: Monty Justice and Greg Justice (wife, Yoshiko) all of Siler City; two sisters: Juanita B. Richardson of Bear Creek and Frances B. Gilmore of Siler City, NC, and three brothers: Johnie Barker of Bennett, Earl Barker of Sanford and Virgil Barker of Siler City; grandchildren, Erica Suggs (husband, Jeffrey), Aaron Bruer, Kelsey Justice, Lily Kelly and Acey Justice.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 3:00-4:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City. The funeral will follow Saturday at 4:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Bear Creek. Online condolences may be made at www. pughfuneralhome.com.
