Virginia T. Williamson, 92, of Weirton, passed away, Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville. Born, April 28, 1926, in Weirton, WV. , she was a daughter of the late Marcel and Scolstyka Jonczak Chmielewski.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert and David Durkin; brothers, Edward, Chester, Henry and Stanley Chmielewski; sisters, Helen Quatro, Connie Dawson, and Elizabeth Chmielewski. Virginia was a Catholic by faith. She retired from Weirton Steel, where she worked in the Tin Mill.

Virginia will be missed by her son, Thomas Durkin (Donna) of Weirton; daughters, Renee Sabol (Mike) of Chester and Gwendolyn Haspel (William) of Weirton; brother, Thomas Chmielewski (Ann) of CA. She will also be missed by her 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Per her wishes, no services are planned at this time.
