Virginia Vining Stone, age 91, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday December 30, 2018 at Vista Park. Mrs. Stone was born on November 26, 1927 in Hinesville, Georgia the daughter of the late Owen Vining and Mary Eula Riner Vining. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy, Pearson, Georgia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin M. Stone, two grandchildren, Stacy Sutton and Jayson Cribb, great granddaughter, Keisha Warren, son-in-law, Ottis Stone, daughter-in-law, Wanda Stone, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Stone, Egima, GA, Vaugie Stone, Douglas, GA and Mildred Cribb (Hayward) of Willacoochee, GA; four sons, Rev. Larry Stone of Douglas, GA, Donnie Stone of Alapaha, GA, DeWayne Stone (Pat) of Alapaha, GA and Rev.

Kevin Stone (Missy) of Broxton, GA; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 1, 2019 at 2:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hardy Crosby and Rev.

Lonnie Spikes officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www. simsfuneralhome.com.
