Obituary of Virginia Dubuque VIRGINIA A. DUBUQUE Loudonville-Virginia Ann Dubuque returned home December 5, 2018 to her Lord and was reunited with her husband Larry and her family in heaven after a brief illness. Born in Albany on February 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas V. and Justina Sullivan Flanagan. She attended St. Theresa of Avila School and Vincentian Institute.

She began her career with the government at the Stratton VA Medical Center and retired from the Watervliet Arsenal. She married her husband Larry on June 11, 1960 and the two shared a beautiful marriage of 47 years prior to his passing in 2007. She and Larry raised their two children Justina (Andy) Treventi and Steven Dubuque.

She spent summers at her camp in Vermont where she enjoyed boating on Lake Champlain, planting flowers and playing all kinds of card, puzzle and board games. She also loved traveling, be it a day trip to the casino or a cruise. She will be remembered most for her infectious laugh and for her loving care and devotion to her family.

Survivors in addition to her children include, her cherished grandchildren Stephanie Treventi, Brian (Jessica), Dakota and Dylan Dubuque, great-grandson Jameson Dubuque, brother Dr. Thomas (Mary) Flanagan, as well as nieces and nephews Susan Scully, Maureen, Megan, Thomas Peter (Julie), John and Brendan (Kate) Flanagan and brother-in-law Gerald Sourdiff. Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Jean and John Scully. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 10, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with the Very Reverend Anthony Barratt and Rev.

Brian Kelly officiating. Per Virginia’s request calling hours will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be next her husband in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
