Voorhies Graham Mitchell December 31, 1940 – March 2, 2019 Funeral services for Voorhies Graham Mitchell, 78, of Hornbeck, LA, will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Brown and Rev. Mike Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Prewitt Chapel Cemetery, Hornbeck, LA. Visitation will begin on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 4:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Hornbeck, LA. Voorhies Graham Mitchell was born on Tuesday, December 31, 1940 in Pineville, LA.

She passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Fleta (Hamous)Graham; husband, Jerry Mitchell, Sr.; son, Gary Mitchell; brother, Bobby Graham; and sister, Helen Bradfield. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Watson of Hornbeck, LA.

; son, Jerry Mitchell, Jr. and wife Cindy of Hornbeck, LA,; grandchildren, Sara Hall of Alexandria, LA. , Trent Watson of Leesville, LA. , Cynthia Welch and husband Justin of Hornbeck, LA.

, and Betty Mitchell of Hornbeck, LA. ; great grandchildren, McKensie and Carter Hall of Alexandria, LA. , Skylynn and Taylor Welch of Hornbeck, LA.

; sister-in-law, Aline Graham of Ball, LA. ; special friend and caregiver, Cindy Rogers; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Milton Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Jimbo Graham, Dwayne Graham, Cleveland Bradfield and Ricky Bradfield.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Lantier, Wayne Candle, Justin Welch and Dale Warren.
