Mr. Wade O’Neal Mitchum, 47, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday morning, October 17, 2018, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. Born October 25, 1970, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of Steve B. Mitchum and the late Martha Crosby Mitchum. Wade enjoyed restoring cars and cutting the grass.

He loved his family, especially those he felt the closest too. He enjoyed deer and the outdoors. Surviving in addition this his father Steve B. Mitchum (Lorene) of Ravenel are: his companion of eighteen years, Debbie Burns; a son, Wade Mitchum, II of the home; a step-son, Morris F. Burns of Summerville; four brothers, Steve Mitchum (Teresa) of Ravenel, Charles Mitchum (Dee) of Ravenel, Duke Mitchum (Cherron) of Summerville; and a sister, Annette Alexander (Ralph) of Cottageville.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alberta Mitchum and Teresa Mitchum; and a step-brother, Robert S. Crosby. Funeral services will be conducted 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, October 20, 2018, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Churchyard, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation this Friday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at THE BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, WALTERBORO CHAPEL, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro; 843. 538. 5408.
