Walter Allen Long, 63, of Leesville, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. Mr. Long was born in Lexington County on October 15, 1954 to the late WD Long and Elizabeth Long of Batesburg. Mr. Long served in the U.S. Army.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Eastside Baptist Church with visitation at 12:00 pm at the church and Rev. Mitch Bruner officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park.

Mr. Long was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling but his greatest joy was his grandchildren, he loved being around all of them laughing and making memories.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Eastside Baptist Church, Youth Fund, P.O. Box 2159, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070.
