Walter E. Caplinger, age 85, of Highland County, passed away Monday morning, November 26, 2018 at his home. He was born December 26, 1932 in Elmville, Ohio, son of the late William Alton and Melva Mae ( Lewis) Caplinger. Surviving are his wife, Betty Joan Caplinger, son, Bill Caplinger of Highland County, daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn and John Dorfe of Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at Dunkard Ridge Cemetery, Butler Rd. Hillsboro, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Dan Lamb officiating.

Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is serving the family.
