Wanda F. Blake, 83, of Gallipolis, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 23, 2018 at her residence. Born on June 22, 1935 in Cabell County, West Virginia, Wanda was the daughter of the late John M. Spurlock and Lillian Hagley Pettit. In 1950, Wanda married Alvin Eugene “Gene” Blake, who survives her.

The Blakes had been blessed with 68 years of marriage. Wanda was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church. Scott (Amy) Blake of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Steve, Brian, Kyle, Nicole, and Emily; six great granddaughters; one great great granddaughter; and one brother, Gary (Sue) Tabor of Gallipolis.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Spurlock. The funeral service for Wanda will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carnes and Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
