Obituary for Mrs. Wanda Faye Porcher You are invited to attend the celebration of the life and legacy of Sister Wanda Faye Porcher (60) as she has now ascended beyond vale of this world and into the presence of Jesus Christ in everlasting glory. Wanda was received by our Lord on Thanksgiving Day November 22, 2018. Her love continues to flow through the hearts of her beloved husband Minister Lewis Porcher & her beautiful daughter Breanda Michelle Porcher and son Reggie Anderson (Katie) and three grandchildren, Britney, DeAndre & Michiah.
Wanda Faye Harvin was born on May 7,1958 she was the youngest child of the late Mr. Isaac & Mrs. Amanda Harvin (North Charleston SC) with siblings Mrs. Freddie Mae Watson (sister) and Mr. Kenneth Harvin (brother). With a Bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree in guidance counseling, Wanda loved teaching small children which she did with joy in both Charleston and Dorchester county school districts. Wanda lived the word.
She practiced Matthew 5:44 with conviction and the evidence can be seen in the countless lives that she has touched for Jesus. The celebration will be held on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at New Jerusalem Triumphant Church, 108 Dorchester Manor Blvd. , North Charleston, SC 29420, with the Apostle Rev.
Dr. Charlesetta C. Prioleau, founding pastor presiding. Interment will be in the Mt. Nebo AME Church cemetery in Awendaw, SC.
