Wanda Sue (Burnett) Farr, 74, of Muskogee, OK, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born on August 10, 1944, in Ladonia, TX to Loyd and Mamie (Watson) Burnett. Wanda graduated from Ladonia High School in May of 1962 and attended East Texas State University in Commerce, TX.

Wanda worked in the banking industry her entire career. She began working at a bank in Antlers, OK and then Citizens Bank, American Bank, and Bank of Oklahoma in Muskogee, OK. She retired from BancFirst in Muskogee as a mortgage loan processor.

Wanda loved spending time with her granddaughter, playing with her cat Domino, reading, and watching OKC Thunder basketball. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Peggy Davis; and brother, Lyndal Burnett. Wanda is survived by her three children, daughter, Cathy Guthrie and husband Ron, of Tulsa, daughter, Sara Kyte and husband Jay, of OKC, and son, Bill Farr and wife Cindy, of Muskogee; granddaughter, Lindsay Guthrie of OKC; step-grandsons, Kevin and Jeremy Koel of Muskogee; brother, Johnny Burnett and wife Pam, of Burleson, TX; sister-in-law, Sue Hardy and niece, Margaret Hardy, both of Austin, TX; and other family members and friends.
