Wanda Su Riffle , June 06, 1981 — March 15, 2019

Wanda “Sue” Riffle, 71, of Weston was called home on Friday, March 15, 2019 from the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Sue’s parents, the late Doyl D. and Lora L. Rylee James, greeted her with loving arms when she was born on April 18, 1947 in Salus, Arkansas. On June 6, 1981 Sue married Edward C. Riffle who preceded her in death on April 10, 2018.

Sue’s generous nature will be remembered by one son, Donnie Hinzman and wife, Clarinda, of Weston; four grandchildren: Donnie Hinzman II and fiancé, Cassandra Johnston, of Weston, Haylea Hinzman and companion, Corey Fultineer, of Weston, Zach Hicks and wife, Chloe, of Jane Lew, and Lè Tia Hicks and fiancé, Brent Stephens, of San Antonio, TX; two great grandchildren: Addalee Fisher and Ava Hicks; one great grandchild on-the-way; four sisters: Sandy Collett and husband, Terry, of East Dailey, Debbie Jenkins of Good Hope, Teresa Vaughn and husband, John, of Good Hope, and Vanessa Bond and husband, Michael, of Lost Creek; one brother, Jerry James of Beverly, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by one son, Scott Hicks; and one daughter, Sherrie Hinzman. Sue worked at Weston State Hospital in the accounting department for over 28 years and was a former member of The Eastern Star Good Hope Lodge Chapter 109.

She loved to sing and was also a member of the Message of Light Quartet with her sister and cousins. She enjoyed spreading the Lord’s word through her singing. Before his passing, Sue happily claimed the role of caregiver for her late husband Eddie.

She loved her family dearly and will be missed immensely. Family and friends will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Pat Boyle Funeral Chapel with Beverley Talbert officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Jane Lew. The Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored and privileged to serve the family of Wanda “Sue” Riffle.
