Mr. Weldon Wonless “Buddy” Shreve of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset after a lengthy illness. Born on June 22, 1955 to the late Bryan and Nancy Gay (Lawson) Shreve, he was 63 years, 3 months, and 15 days of age. Mr. Shreve was a former employee of Union Underwear and a sawmill worker, but spent most of his leisure time fishing or playing with grandchildren.

He leaves to mourn his passing: Two children: Joyce Ann Shreve of Edmonton, and Anthony Shreve of Campbellsville, Two sisters: Mable Perkins of Elkhorn, and Liz Wethington od Campbellsville, A half sister: Mary Elizabeth Miller and husband John Paul of Florida, Five grandchildren: Kaitlyn Graham, Courtney Graham, Bryan Shreve, Sierra Shreve, and Carli Shreve, And a host of nieces, Nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Shreve on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville. To fulfill his last wishes, cremation will be accorded him and his ashes will be laid to rest in the Jones Chapel Cemetery, Hwy 1752, Taylor County, KY.

The family will receive friends friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct 13, from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
