Wendell “Uncle Moe” Monroe Bannister Belton Wendell “Uncle Moe” Monroe Bannister, 78, husband of Linda Lloyd Bannister of 209 Brown St., died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Amos and Demmie Lloyd Bannister. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Anderson.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Milford, Junior and Jimmy Bannister and his sister, Wilma Witt. Services will be held 2pm Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Anderson with Rev.

Curtis Bundy and Rev. Danny Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6pm until 8pm at Cox Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 129 North Street, Anderson, SC 29621. The family will be at the residence of his niece, Amanda Hubbard.
