Lida Saxon Timms Belton Lida Saxon Timms, 105, widow of Troy Lee Timms of Belton, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Pelzer, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Marion and Janie Madden Saxon. Her late husband was a retired agent with State Farm after 35 years.

She sold Stanley Home products and worked for Gene Anderson’s Shoe Store. She was a member of Belton Church of God. Surviving are: son, Carroll Lee Timms of Belton; granddaughters, Kristi Jennings (Rickey) of Belton and Bridget Wood (Dendall) of Donalds; great grandchildren, Haylee Mauldin, Eian and Anslee Wood; great great grandchild, Heartlee Mauldin; godson, Randy Bulter of Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Ryan Jennings and 9 brothers and sisters. Service will be held 2pm Saturday at Belton Church of God with Rev. Norman Black officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6pm until 8pm at Cox Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence of her granddaughter, Kristi Jennings at 409 Caroll Rd.
