Wendy’s Obituary Wendy Frayer Quick Wendy was born on December 3, 1936 to Peter and Mildred Wurm in Detroit, Michigan. Wendy was the oldest of three children. Wendy gently passed away February 21, 2019, surrounded by family at her home in Price, Utah.

Wendy attended Redford High School (Michigan) where she met the love of her life, Vernon Frederick Quick. They were married on November 1, 1958, spending 61 beautiful years together. Born to parents who were deaf, Wendy served as an American Sign Language interpreter for her parents and for local community members who were also deaf.

As an adult, Wendy spent 20+ years as dietary manager for Castleview Hospital. Wendy was an avid lover of the outdoors with an adventurous spirit and a passion for traveling, fly fishing, camping, road trips, and cross-country sightseeing. Grateful to have shared their lives with Wendy is her sweetheart Vernon; her children, Brian (Lorinda) Quick, Orangeville, Utah, Brenda Quick, Price, Utah and Rebecca (Romeo) Rodriguez, Riverton, Utah.

Her grandchildren Daniel (Jenae) Quick, Murray Utah, Bailee (Cody Mastin) Parry, Price, Utah, Malorie (Joshua) Huff, Silverton, Oregon, Tyler (Brittanie Coleman) Parry Price Utah, and Kyle Parry, Price, Utah. Great grandsons Levi and Luke Huff of Silverton, Oregon. Sister Darlene (Donald) Hanson of Howell, Michigan, and brother Glen (Roberta) Wurm of Rochester Hills Michigan.

Nieces and nephews, Doreen (Craig) Zampa, Dennis (Julie) Hanson, Denise (John) Luka, Mathew (Ashley) Wurm and Karl Wurm. Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Mildred Wurm, son Brady Quick, father and mother-in-law Lester and Opal Quick. We would like to extend a special thanks to Amiee, Michaela, and Dr. Cam Williams From Symbii Hospice as well as the physicians and nurses from the ER and ICU at Castleview Hospital for their compassionate care.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Mitchell Funeral Home located at 233 East Main Street Price, Utah. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to service.
