CARNES, Whitney. Beloved son of the late Ron & Jean Carnes. Loving brother of Shelly (Tom) Martin.

Dear nephew of Donnie Daniel. Also survived by several cousins & many special friends who will miss him dearly. Born March 21, 1957, Whitney passed away on June 23, 2018.

He served his country as a US Navy Air Traffic Controller. His career in radio included working for WMOH & WOFX. He was a successful self-employed contractor & craftsman.

In his published book, “Mom’s Journey” he shares his mother’s life through dementia in hope of helping others. He loved music and wrote many meaningful songs on his guitar. Services will be held privately.
