Wilbur Rogers McArthur, 89, of Kinston, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro. He serviced his county in WWII in the Amry. Enjoyed farming, keeping up with his family history about his family.

Always leading a helping hand to someone in need. Had smile that warm up a room and put your heart at ease. He is preceded in death by his parents Daisy and Matthew McArthur; three brothers Burton Grant, Norval Grant, Charles McArthur.

Survivors include niece Joan Wiggs; two nephews John Grant and Mike McArthur; great-great niece Ashley MacArthur; great-great nephews Brian Wiggs, Mathew Wiggs and Michael Wiggs. Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church on Middle Road with Pastor Greg Dickerson officiating.
