Sutton, Willard “Bill”, 91 of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at St. Mark’s Village. He was born in Oxford, New Jersey to the parents of Lester and Mabel (Knetch) Sutton. Bill attended the St. Michael’s school and eventually joined the Merchant Marines then the Navy and then the Army.

He served during WW II and the Korean Conflict. Bill and the former Jane Fichthorn were married November 29, 1952 in the Mountain View Gospel Church, Wayne, New Jersey and they eventually moved to Florida. He was employed by Sears in New Jersey and retired in 1989 here in St. Petersburg.

Bill taught Sunday School for many years at Northwood Presbyterian Church, Clearwater, FL and volunteered at Countryside High School in Clearwater in their A/V department. Memorial Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Northwood Presbyterian Church, Clearwater, FL. Internment will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater with military rites.
