OBITUARY Willard Wassel February 4, 1945 – January 22, 2019 Wassel, Willard, 73, of Scranton, PA passed away on Tues. Jan. 22, 2019 in Wichita.

Willard was born the son of Willard Wassel Sr. and Alice Zigler on Feb. 4, 1945 in Scranton, PA. Willard and Karen Wassel were united in marriage on Dec.

16, 1988 in Scranton, PA. Willard retired after 42 years from Scranton Wiping Cloth as a forklift operator. He loved fishing, hiking in the woods, animals and football.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. Survivors include his loving wife; Karen Wassel, children; Barbara Shore of NJ, son; William Wassel of PA, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No services will be held.
