OBITUARY William A. Ricker March 9, 1938 – October 11, 2018 William A. Ricker, 80, of the Camp Creek Community, passed away Thursday morning, October 11, 2018, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a welder and a farmer. He loved everybody and everybody was his friend.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Pansy Ricker; son and daughter-in-law: William and Kay Ricker; grandson and wife: William T. and Brandy Ricker; several nieces and nephews; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Donnie and Gladys Ricker and Leon and Joann Ricker; sisters-in-law and husbands: Gladys and Jim Souder, Nellie and Everette Dixson, and Ellena Jennings; brother-in-law and wife: Clem and Rosie Stills; and his special little dog, Candy, that brought him a lot of joy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Samuel and Ottie Ricker; five brothers: Clinton, Albert, Junior, Raven, and Kenneth Ricker; and one sister: Ollie Williams. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshall and Rev. Junior Shipley officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddie Ricker, Charles Ricker, Danny Ricker, Jay Lynn Stills, Jeff Ricker, Scottie Ricker, J.C. Kelley, William Ricker (grandson), and Lynn Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Mont Rice, Everette Dixson, Jim Souder, Kenny Ricker, Steve Cutshaw, Billy Darnell, Bobby Weems, Wayne Ricker, Buford Metcalf, and Dr. Charles Montgomery.
