William “Bill” Andrew Lee, 88, husband of the late Judy Virginia Lee, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 11 o’clock at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old U.S. 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Flowers will be accepted.

Bill was born on May 3, 1930 in Norfolk, VA, son of the late Mack and Ruth Lee. He served seven years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Bill loved to collect things and tell old stories.

He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. Survivors include seven children: Dennis McHone (Tammy) of Goose Creek, Teresa Thatcher (the late Tracy Thatcher) of Summerville, Ricky McHone of Goose Creek, Terry Lee of Virginia, Ernie Lee (Anita) of Virginia, Shelia Lee of Virginia, and Paula Edwards (Kevin) of Virginia. Bill is also survived by his grandchildren: TJ Thatcher, Serena Thatcher, Samantha High, Chantel Thatcher, Dennis McHone Jr, Justin McHone, and 24 grand/great-grandchildren in Virginia.
