William “Bill”‘s Obituary William “Bill” R. Bahr, 80, entered into rest on Friday, January 18, 2019. The son of the late William and Agnes (Sotak) Bahr, he was born September 11, 1938 in Cleveland, OH. He married Mary Lou (Corrao) Bahr on February 11, 1961 in Parma, OH.

Mary Lou survives at home. Dad had a colorful personality and always made those around him laugh. He brought smiles to many faces with his ability to deliver the punch line of a joke, and his interactive method of storytelling was unparalleled.

His family will always remember his antics, and will miss his hearty laugh and smiling eyes. Mew Dog! In addition to his wife Mary Lou, he is survived by his children, William B. Bahr (Marissa) of Warwick, NY, Richard Bahr (JoAnn) of Northville, MI, Wendy Crowell (Brian) of Bedford Hills, NY, and Matthew Bahr (Sarah) of Highland, NY; his brother, James Bahr (Dee) of Brunswick, OH; and grandchildren, Jacqueline Larson (Anthony), Erika Bahr, Kevin, Cassandra and Christina Crowell, Malina, Gianna, Ayden, and Gavin Bahr, Chris DeGiovine, Quinn and George Elliott, and Ashley Morrow.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, January 25 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. , Newburgh, with a service at 7:30 pm.
