H Nadine Healy Nadine Riley Healy, 93 entered her heavenly home on January 3, 2019. She left this earth peacefully surrounded by her family at home in Shohola, PA. Nadine was born August 2, 1925, in Newburgh the eldest child of John A. Riley and Anne R. Fitzpatrick Riley.
Nadine lived in Newburgh most of her life. In 1994, she moved to Shohola PA, but her heart remained in Newburgh. Nadine married John R. Healy, December 2, 1962.

Nadine loved spending time with her grandchildren Meaghan Bucca, Michael Bucca, Michael Parker and Katie Parker, and a very dear close friend, Trisha Manuele . She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Riley Monel, brothers Peter Riley, John Riley and Sister-in-Law Bebe Riley.
She graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy Class of 1943. She also was a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School. Prior to raising her family, Nadine worked as a book keeper for her father’s business, GE Howard and Company for many years.
Later in life she became a realtor for Caldwell Banker Currier and Lazier Realtors in Newburgh. While raising her daughters, Nadine was a homemaker and enjoyed entertaining and hosting her children’s friends. She never objected to a houseful of kids, “kick-ball” on the front lawn and last minute rides for school activities and other events.
Nadine was always active in the Newburgh community. She was a member of the Republican Committee women; a lifelong member of the Catholic Daughters Court Patricia; an organizer of Mount Saint Mary’s High School Alumni Association; Meals on Wheels and actively contributed to organizing and supporting her husband’s association with the V.F.W. Post 973. Nadine had a beautiful soul inside and out.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, near or far. She was happiest traveling the roads of Orange County to visit her many friends. She made frequent trips from Shohola to Newburgh to attend functions at the Mount or other places.
You never knew when Nadine was going to drop by! She had many friends throughout her long life. She left her mark on their hearts and they in turn touched her heart.
It is a fact that she will be deeply missed! Family and friends are welcome to visit 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, Thursday January 10, 2019 at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home, 318 N Montgomery Street, Newburgh NY 12550 Funeral services will take place on Friday January 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh NY. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery New Windsor, NY.
