Haydee’s Obituary Haydee Santiago Newburgh, NY June 11, 1949 – February 14, 2019 Haydee Santiago, 69 of Newburgh, NY joined the Lord Thursday, February 14, 2019 surrounded by her beloved family. Haydee is the daughter of the late Ciraco and Bartola (Aguilar) Discua. She was born in San Marcos Santa Barbara Honduras on June 11, 1949.

Haydee had been a resident of the area for the past 25 years, working at Cintas as a line worker. She also was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church. Haydee is survived by her spouse Dolores Santiago; children Doris Jones, Karen Discua, Liliana Gutierrez, Nadina Gutierrez and Cesar G. Banegas; siblings Sirilo Discua, Graciela Discua, Gloria Discua, Elba Discua and Mercedez Discua; grandchildren Cesar Banegas, Gabriela Reyes, Mailyn Castellano, Herman Gutierrez, Haydee Brizuelas, Mabel Vargas, Naomi Rodriguez, Tiffany Nievez, Mia Velasquez, Ariana Velasquez, Eric Vargas, Edward Vargas, Samantha Paz, Rasa Fontanes and Rolondo Gorrid; great grandchildren Haydee Guzman, Chris Banegas, Alison Banegas, Elias and Justin Castellanos; nieces and nephews Mirtha, Maira, Glenda, Sandra, Hernan, Maritza, Ana, Antonio, Manrigue, Kenia, Omar, Oscar, Jenny, Danmaris, Luis, Andi, Menphys, Paola, Fabiola, Sergio, Irwin, Zully Quinones, Valerie and Stephanie Banegas.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 18 at Brooks Funeral Home from 4-8pm. Mass will be held Tuesday, February 19 at St. Patrick’s Church at 10am with burial following at Calvary Cemetery.
