Thomas’ Obituary On February 6, 2019 Thomas Carfora entered into rest in Delray Beach, Florida. Thomas was born on August 31,1925 in Newburgh, NY the son of the late Salvatore Carfora and Agata Santorine Carfora. He attended Newburgh City Schools and served honorably in the United Marines, First Division from 1942 to 1946.

He was honorably discharged. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 417. Thomas is survived by his wife of 68 years Frances DeCandia Carfora, daughter Agatha Bucci, grandchildren, Jennifer FitzGerald, her husband Robert, Stephanie Thomas and her husband Craig Figliola, four great-grandchildren, Ryan and Thomas FitzGerald and Sofia and Christopher Figliola.

He was pre-deceased by his parents and son-in-law Lou Bucci. Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Delray Beach. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lou Bucci Memorial Fund though Community Foundations of Orange and Sullivan Counties, the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
