Mary’s Obituary Mary Monge September 11, 1948 – February 5, 2019 Saugerties, NY Mary Monge, 70 of Saugerties, NY, a retired Project Manager for IBM, Kingston, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. The daughter of May (Gee) Lee and the late Kim Ock Lee, she was born September 11, 1948 in New York, NY. After 13 years on dialysis Mary was given a gift of 17 more years of life from an anonymous kidney donor.

Steven of Savannah, GA, Michael Monge of Kingston and Patricia O’Connell and spouse Casey of Poughkeepsie; siblings: David Lee and spouse Janet, Harry Lee, Rose Ng and spouse Kelly, all of Brooklyn, and Samuel Lee of Staten Island; grandchildren: Mia Luciano, Kayla Luciano, Katherine Monge, Matthew Monge, Chase O’Connell and Jonathan Rosa; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm on Friday, February 8 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. , Newburgh. A graveside service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.

The family would like to thank the SC7 and NCU nurses at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, and the entire Kaplan Family Hospice Residence staff for supporting Mary and her family in her final days. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Kaplan Hospice Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550.
