On January 19, 2019, William “Bill” Blakely Gibson III, 68, passed away at his home in Cheverly, MD. He was the beloved son to the late Denzil H. Gibson and Beverly Gibson-Cramer. He is survived by his loving children; Jeff, Lana, Blake Gibson and Nicole Kreamer, four cherished grandchildren; Mia, Cali, Eli and Cuwen.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Debbie Flanagan (Fred) and his loving brothers; Fred Gibson, Tom Gibson (Charlotte), and John Gibson (Jill), along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of many dear family and friends. Bill retired after 34 years of service with the Washington Gas Company. His last years at Washington Gas, he dedicated and served as the President of Teamsters Local 96.

Visitation and Service will be held on, Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Gasch’s Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Ave. Hyattsville, MD 20781. Burial will be held at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, in Cheltenham, MD at a date that is not yet determined.
