William “Bill” Calvin Turner, Sr., 86, of Clover, SC passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at home. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at First Baptist Church C.O.A.C Building, Clover with the Revs. Dave Stanford and Mike Stafford officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 pm Monday at the church. Mr. Turner was born January 18, 1932 to the late William Brice and Mary Ellen Snow Turner. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Faulkner Turner.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, one brother and one sister. Mr. Turner was co-owner of ACE Hardware for 16 years and worked at Community Cash Stores for 43 years. He also served thirteen years in the Naval Reserve.

Survivors are his daughters Sandra Joyce Turner of Clover and Katy Chapman (Ralph) of Cheraw, SC; son Billy Turner (Sara) of Clover; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Clover First Baptist Church Building Fund, 117 S. Main Street, Clover, SC 29710.
