William “Bill” Scott, age 86, of Harrison, passed away on May 7, 2019, at his home. He was born on March 31, 1933 in Stow, Ohio to Chester and Amy (nee Young) Scott. Bill retired from Standard Publishing in 1995.

He then started working for Miami Whitewater Park and enjoyed mowing grass. If he wasn’t mowing grass at work or home, Bill could be found on the golf course or camping. He also loved his church.

Those left to cherish Bill’s memory are his loving wife: Sandy (nee Mosier) Scott; beloved children: Lisa (Steve) White, Joe (Katie) Lake and Andrea (Dan) Hodapp; cherished grandchildren: Jason (Sandra) Helmes, Kory Helmes, Connor White, Brody, Taylor, Brooks, Tatham and Nixon Lake, Jackson, Cole, and Scarlet Hodapp. He was also survived by his brother Eugene Scott, George (Verda) Scott, Vada (Don) Snowberger and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Amy Scott; daughter: Lora Lee Scott; and siblings: Richard, Eileen, Mary, Robert, Walter, Jack, Tommy, Linda, and Shirley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 2 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Oh 45030. Pastor Bryan Harrison to conduct the services and the Harrison Honor Guard will provide Military Services immediately following. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Honor Flight.
