William “Bill” David Hopkins, 67, formerly of Belton died Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Born in Belton, SC, he was the son of the late Elbert Lee and Lois Jennings Hopkins. He was a member of Earl Street Baptist Church in Greenville.

Surviving are: sister, Dorothy Whitfield (Larry) of Belton; numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by: brothers, James and Charles Hopkins; sisters, Mary Owenby and Elizabeth Hopkins. Graveside service will be held 11am Monday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Sam Hopkins officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. The family will be at the home of his sister, Dorothy Whitfield, 816 River St., Belton, SC 29627. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
