William “Billy”‘s Obituary William “Billy” Flye 61, of East Alton formerly of Alton passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 3, 1957 in Wood River to Robert and Alberta (Burman) Flye. He married Penny Butcher April 4, 1996.

Billy loved music and dancing; he enjoyed yard work and being outside. He survived by his wife Penny of East Alton; son, Andrew Flye (Heather Newby) of Godfrey; daughter, Brandy (Keith) Watson of Plainview; four grandchildren, Gage, Ava, RubyRain and Kasper; three sisters, Pat Murrell, Cheryl Warren and Vicky Venardos all of Alton and a brother Robert Flye of Alton. He was preceded in death by parents and brother, Michael Flye.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights.
