OBITUARY William “Billy” Packer Beachboard Jr. February 24, 1940 – January 4, 2019 William “Billy” Packer Beachboard, Jr., 78, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Satsuma, Alabama. He joined his loving wife of 53 years, Virginia Zerkle Beachboard; parents, William Packer Beachboard, Sr. and Fannie Renfro Beachboard; brother, Arthur Renfro; and sister, Evelyn McCraw. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Craig) Chappell; two grandsons, Logan and Cooper Chappell; sister, Beth Peterson; nephew, Jeff Peterson; and nieces, Janet Parrish, Terri Peterson, and Cindy Peterson.

Billy was in the United States Coast Guard before setting out for a lucrative career in sales and marketing. He loved classic cars, and collected model cars. In Billy’s younger years, he enjoyed waterskiing.

He was a Sunday School Teacher, and a wonderful storyteller. Billy was also adept in tinerking and fixing things. He was a loving man who will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Centerpointe Assembly of God on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following. There will be a private interment in Pine Crest Cemetery.
