William C. Dailey March 19, 1942 – March 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mr. William C. “Bill” Dailey, age 76, passed away March 4, 2019 at U.S.A. Medical Center in Mobile, AL. Mr. Dailey was born in Monroe County, Alabama and had lived most of his life in Monroe County. He was a retired Vietnam Veteran after serving in the Army and Marine Corp, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the American Legion, and Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard, Local Chapter.

He was also a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Dailey was preceded in death by his parents, Lafayette Dailey and Martha Holloway Dailey; two brothers, Walter Dailey and Bruce Dailey; and two sisters, Jean Paulen and Helen Oswald. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Shelia Dailey of Monroeville, AL; his son, Bryan (Joan) Dailey of Adairsville, GA; two stepsons, Michael Weekley (Andre Ames) of Atlanta, GA and Kenneth Weekley of Booneville, AL; his adopted son, Kyle Dailey of Brewton, AL; his daughter, Charity Dailey (Jim) Hudson of Thomasville, AL; a brother, Tommy Dailey of Butler, AL; four grandchildren, Wade (Kim) Ballard, Trey (Cearra) Hudson, Ashlianne Caraway and Cambren Weekley; and two great-grandchildren, Whitney and Caleb Harrington.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Crowe and Rev. Mike Fountain officiating.

Burial will follow at Monroe Chapel Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until funeral time at Southside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pilots for Christ, P.O. Box 707, Monroeville, AL 36461.
