William E. Griffith LEIPSIC – William E. Griffith, 90, of Leipsic died 5:55 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at The Meadows of Leipsic. He was born September 23, 1927 in Cameron WV to the late William M. and Bessie (Aston) Griffith. On August 15, 1954, he married Betty Beam and she survives in Leipsic.

Other survivors include five children: Sharon (Richard) Swihart of Ft. Wayne, IN, Fred (Sue) Griffith of Port Orange, FL, Phil (Marlene) Griffith of Ottawa, Daniel (Penny) Griffith of Drums, PA and Nadine (Shane) McMackin of Kingsport, TN; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Lillian Mericle of Findlay, Betty Hurt of Tiffin and Carrie (Ken) Vroman of Tuscan, AZ. He was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sophia Steffel; a brother, Raymond Griffith and a sister, Helen Dangler.

Bill was a lifelong farmer with a state farmer degree. He was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic with Rev.

Tom Graves officiating. Burial will follow in West Belmore Cemetery, Belmore. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.

Memorial donations may be given to the Leipsic United Methodist Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.
