Obituary for William Glen Roberson Dateline: Godfrey William Glen Roberson, 91, died at 3:05 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born December 27, 1926 in Harrisburg, IL, he was the son of John Logan and Maud (Rude) Roberson. Mr. Roberson was a Southern Baptist minister, school teacher and administrator in both Roxana, Paxton, and Mt.

Auburn, IL. He married the former Dorothy Wood on September 1, 1950 in Worden, IL. She preceded him in death.

Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Michael Adedokun of Godfrey, a son, Paul Roberson of Godfrey, three grandchildren, Cassandra Miller, Tiffany Carson, and James Dickerson III, three great grandchildren, Zariah, Shayla and Isaiah Lumpkins, and a niece, Mary Lou Roberson of Harrisburg, IL. Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Makayla Carson, four brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Richwoods Cemetery in Roodhouse, IL.
