Obituary for William H. “Bill” Harrington William “Bill” Harrington was born on October 7, 1953 to Evelyn and Herbert Harrington in Muskegon, MI. On November 7, 1975 he married Donita Beckwith. They have three children and four grandchildren.

He retired from GE Aviation after 26 years of service in 2014. Bill liked to fish and play golf. He was an avid Red Wings, Tigers and Lions fan.

He passed away September 15, 2018 at SKLD Nursing Facility in Muskegon with his family by his side. Bill leaves behind his wife, Donita; daughter, Crystal Harrington (Dave VanWieren); sons: William II and Joshua; granddaughters: Kaysea and Cora VanWieren, Jasamay Harrington (Rochelle Rexford); grandson, William III (Robin Michael); sisters: Cheryl Miller (Ray) and his twin sister, Frances Harrington; brother, Dennis Interbitzen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Herbert II and Robert Harrington.

He requested to be cremated and that there be no funeral service. The family wants to thank all the nurses and aides at SKLD, especially Alice Bizzard for taking care of Bill for the last 3 ½ years and becoming a valued friend to him and his family.
